Management of the OHS Body of Knowledge

The development of the initial version of the OHS Body of Knowledge was overseen by an independent Technical Panel chaired by the Pam Pryor as the Australian Institute of Health & Safety (AIHS) representative. With the signing-over of the copyright of the OHS Body of Knowledge to the AIHS (with conditions), the governance of the OHS BoK was ceded to the Board of the AIHS.

The governance role was partly delegated to the board of Australian OHS Education Accreditation Board, with the management of the OHS Body of Knowledge falling to the then registrar of AOHSEAB, Pam Pryor.

More recently, the role of maintaining and developing the body of Knowledge- both governance and management – has been separated from the Accreditation Board and registrar respectively. Dr. Marilyn Hubner now manages the Body of Knowledge under contract to the AIHS through the CEO.

The Board of the AIHS and the Manager OHS Body of Knowledge benefit from the strategic advice and support of the OHS Body of Knowledge Advisory Panel.
